Extending Some Art!

Hey everyone, Johannes posting this! I just wanted to let you know I've been hard at work extending these paintings and wanted to share some of that with you! :) It's tricky actually because some of these paintings are older and I don't even have the brushes anymore that I used, but I'm focusing on making it seamless. Hope you like it! :)

Backer Surveys Sent

The smoke test went very well and what few issues we found were quickly corrected, so we decided to send out the Backer Surveys a bit early.

All Backer Surveys have been sent out and should be in your inbox now.

Over 1,200 backers have already completed your survey, which is great to see.

The Due Date to Complete Your Survey is Sunday, November 14th.

We are giving you as much time as possible before we submit our final numbers to UltraPro for printing, so please complete your survey as soon as you can.

If you haven't completed your survey by that date, I can't guarantee we are going to have printed enough rewards to meet your request.  We are doing one print run and that's it, so it is imperative that you complete your survey in a timely manner.

If you have not received your survey yet, please check your spam folders.  If you still can't locate your survey, please  let me know in the comments below and I will get it sent out to you.

Next Steps

With the Backer Surveys now being completed, the next step is for Johannes to finish extending the artwork and then to finalize everything with UltraPro.  Until the Backer Surveys are complete and we have our final product counts, we're in a holding pattern, but a productive one at least.

I've reviewed the production timeline with UltraPro and I am confident that we will be able to meet or beat our March shipping timeline, though there's still a pandemic going on, so our timeline may be unexpectedly impacted.

We will lock address changes just prior to fulfillment to give you as much time as we can.  An update will be sent out prior to this, so you'll have one last chance to make changes before we lock everything  down.

Smoke Test Sent - Backer Surveys Coming Soon

Over the last two weeks, I've been working with the Backerkit team to finalize the Backer Surveys and just sent out the initial smoke test to ensure that everything is working properly.  5% of the surveys have been sent out and I will be monitoring their progress over the next 48 hours.

If no issues arise, I will be sending out Backer Surveys on Monday, November 1st.

Through your Backer Survey, you will be able to do the following:

• Select your desired Playmat(s) for your Reward Level
• Upgrade your Reward Level
• Purchase additional Playmats via Add Ons
• Pay for shipping
• Enter your Address information

Please check your spam filters to see if you received your Backer Survey through the Smoke Test.

I will send out another update once Backer Surveys are sent.

Welcome Blood Artist!

The votes are in, and Blood Artist has been added to the Johannes Voss Playmat Collection!

I know several of you were rooting for this particular vampiric portraitist and Johannes, who shares your enthusiasm, is quite glad they won this last vote.  

With the last design now settled, Johannes is hard at work on the art extensions and should have them finished in November.  Look forward to updated mockups and final proofs as they become available.

Backer Surveys are under construction and will be sent out soon after the funds arrive from Kickstarter, hopefully some time next week.

There are still 38 backers with errored payment info.  If you are having difficulty arranging payment through Kickstarter, let me know.  You will be able to do so with Paypal or Credit Card through your Backer Survey, if nothing else.

Hey everyone, this is Johannes posting this! I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you, the response has been absolutely overwhelming. I can't quite believe it that there's so many of you who enjoy my work enough to want a playmat of it. I'll do my very best on the art extensions for the pieces all of you have voted for and can't wait for them to reach all of you! :) Josh will keep you updated about progress on all things logistics, while I'll post up whenever I have completed extending a painting. Thanks again to all of you, it really means the world to me! :)
