Thalia Triumphs, Stitched Edges, New Stretch Goals, and Reward Level!

After another nail-biting round of voting, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben (Secret Lair 039) secured the most votes and has been added to the project.

The extended art for this one is going to look great, and it's good to see a Thalia playmat finally get printed.  Johannes is already adding it to his work schedule, so hopefully we will have the extended art available soon.

Voting for the third new playmat unlocked at $60,000 will begin on Monday of next week.

Stitched Edges - Feedback Needed

Speaking of hitting Stretch Goals, at $80,000 you all unlocked Stitched Edges for the project.  Before we decide on how we are going to implement Stitched Edges, we'd like to get some feedback on which treatment you prefer on your mats.

We're leaning towards including both in the project, with the stitched edges being optional, but we want to hear from you before we make any final decisions

New Stretch Goal and Reward Level Available

It took a bit of convincing with Johannes, as he was set on keeping the project to 9 playmats, but with your continued show of overwhelming support, I was able to convince him to add another New Playmat Stretch Goal which, when we hit it, will bring the count up to 10 mats.

At the time of this writing, we are just above $95,000 with more than half of the project still to go, so we're on track to hit this goal.

To help us get there, we've added a new Reward Level, available now to all backers.

With this Reward Level, you can get one of each mat from this project (or whatever mix you prefer) at the lowest price available.

We can't say enough how much we appreciate your continued support and can't wait to see which mat you will pick next.

Stretch Goal Update

Wow, $20,000 raised in under five hours, that’s amazing!

It’s in fact so amazing that we’re going to have to make some changes to our next few  planned Stretch Goals.

To get the project fulfilled on time, Johannes can only extend so many Playmats, so we are going to be spacing out the next stretch goals announced in the last update a bit more.

We’re currently duscussing where to place the new Stretch Goals as well as what other Stretch Goals we can offer, such as upgrading each mat with a premium stitched edge.

We should have an updated plan to share with tonight’s update, which will also include the poll for you to pick the new playmat for the first Stretch Goal.

In the meantime, keep on spreading the word and thanks for your continued support!

We’re Funded!

Well that was fast.

Thank you so much for supporting the project and helping us get fully funded in less than three hours!  Outstanding!

We’re on track to hit our first Stretch Goal soon, and the next one soon after that at this pace.

The next Stretch Goals will be at $25k and $30k, just in case things get crazy and I can’t update the page until tonight.
